First 90 days: Success for a marketing leader. Key considerations to help you succeed in your new role
Business leaders (across industries) need to strike the right balance between achieving short-term goals and implementing the necessary steps to realise the company’s long-term vision. In a Marketing-specific leadership role, it is important to be realistic about timelines attached to achieving each of these – for Marketing executives, 90 days may not be sufficient to measure success and / or performance in this regard. This timeframe (your first 90 – 100 days) does, however, sets the tone for your future in the position.
