Our client is looking to employ a Credit Analyst

Credit Analyst

La Lucia, Durban

R-Market Related
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess credit worthiness of applicants (mortgage and other credit products) through undertaking detailed risk assessment analysis
- Ensure that procedures and decisions comply with credit policy, regulations and best practice standards
- Motivate and support decisions through the analysis of financial information
- Provide quality service to internal customers
- Liaise with other stakeholders within the company
- Staying abreast with Legal, compliance and market
- Provide regular feedback on the submission of loan applications to manage
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- B.Com Degree or relevant business degree
- 2 Years’ experience in Credit underwriting /candidates who have had mandate to approve/ decline based on assessments.
- Banking / Financial Services Experience
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent Time Management
- Attention to detail and strong proven credit/financial analytical skill including property valuations
