Our client is looking to employ a Factory Admin Clerk
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Raw Material control and stock management
- Supervise Raw Material staff in line with company policies, procedures and main agreement
- Issue raw materials to production
- Processing requisitions for purchasing raw materials, following up on orders and receipting raw materials when received from a supplier
- Implement internal systems to improve material control
- Perform ad-hoc tasks when required
- Conduct regular stock take
- Capturing on Sage X3 system
- Ensure that departments are supplied with enough raw material
- Evaluate regrind area, advise, assist temporarily but be visible
- Assist with the booking of masterbatch and raw materials
- Waste inspection and waste recording must be forwarded to the General Manager
- Responsible for control/ moving of raw materials and ensuring that all transactions relating to the movement of raw materials are done
- Do floor walks to assess how production teams are using the raw materials and give feedback to the General Manager
- Record the following information on bags; percentage loading, machine allocated to, masterbatch code and colour and ensure that said information is recorded
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric / Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification is a must!
- Partial/completed supervisory qualification or related qualification will be advantageous
- 3 – 5 years of Factory Admin / supervisory experience / Manufacturing environment experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and Sage X3 knowledge will be advantageous
- Work under pressure with meticulous attention to detail
- Driver’s license is essential
- Forklift Drivers’ license
