We are seeking a proactive Junior Procurement Buyer strongo join a fast-paced team and play a key role in ensuring product availability, supplier performance, and cost-effective purchasing



Our client is looking to employaJuniorBuyer based in Pinelands



RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage supplier communication regarding stock availability and delivery timelines
• Place and manage orders across multiple locations
• Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of high-demand products
• Conduct price checks and negotiate with suppliers
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Process customer and supplier credits accurately
• Source new products and suppliers
• Manage trade-in stock and aged stock returns
• Assist with procurement support for promotions and training initiatives
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records

Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12

2–3 years of experience in  procurement, purchasing, buying, or a similar supply chain role/ Retail / Technology background

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships

Good numerical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Confident and professional telephone manner

Strong organisational and time management skills

Computer literacy and proficiency in standard business software
