RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive new business growth in the distribution market and meet monthly/annual targets
  • Prospect, qualify, and convert leads into sustainable billing clients
  • Manage client relationships and oversee monthly billing/reporting
  • Conduct competitor and industry analysis to stay ahead of trends
  • Assist with tender and proposal preparation/presentation
  • Collaborate across departments to identify cross-silo solutions
  • Mentor junior sales executives and maintain updated client files in CRM
  • Ensure smooth communication of signed business and manage debtor days
  • Deliver weekly sales analysis and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • 2–3 years’ experience in new business sales within Transport/ Logistics / Courier industry background
  • Valid Driver license and own transport
  • Proven track record in prospecting and achieving sales targets
  • Tender management and cross-silo solution selling experience
  • Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of supply chains
