We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Manager in Logistics and Supply Chain, preferably with experience in the Automotive Industry, to oversee and optimize departmental operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity across the supply chain and logistics functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in preparing Sales Budgets – with Sales activity trends
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure Sales Objectives are met complete monthly sales analysis
  • Gross profit analysis – sales vs cost of sales, management reporting, GP tends, improving gross profits
  • Monitoring of overdue inventory and resolution of damaged inventory
  • Customer relationship management – expanding current customer business environment
  • Support, co-ordinate and completion of new projects and trial activities
  • Handle process from Request for Quotation, Preparation of quote and order management
  • Supervise and assist in SAP processing
  • Rundown sheet management – Tracking with supplier and customer on hand information
  • Ensure queries are resolved timeously – Quality, Damaged Stock, Overdue Debtors, Airfreight cost capturing as well as month end tasks
  • First in First Out stock management and control

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management
  • 5+ years prior experience years in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably Automotive with end-to-end Supply Chain Management
  • SAP R3 experience
