Overview

A marketing agency specialising in retail, experiential events and social media marketing is seeking a Retail Marketing Coordinator to support marketing operations for two retail centres while also assisting the broader marketing team. The role focuses on tenant engagement, marketing administration, campaign coordination and implementation of marketing initiatives.

Work Structure

• On-site at retail centres approximately three days per week.
• One additional centre visit approximately once per week.
• Remaining time dedicated to marketing support and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of retail marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Support tenant communication and coordination of tenant marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate ad hoc promotional events and activations.
• Assist with social media and digital marketing content.
• Compile marketing reports and maintain marketing administration.
• Support the marketing team with operational and campaign tasks.

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Marketing or relevant marketing qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in retail marketing (non-negotiable).
• Shopping centre marketing experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple locations.
• Good communication and relationship management skills.
• Understanding of retail marketing KPIs such as foot traffic and tenant performance.
