EPO Project Manager
Main Purpose of Job

Key Responsibility Areas
- Assess, improve and guide Mediclinic project management methodology
- Design the project delivery approach
- Manage and balance stakeholder demands to deliver successful project outcomes
- Facilitate project initiation and planning
- Manage and facilitate various activities throughout the project execution
- Facilitate project close-out
- Accomplish successful project delivery within the broader integrated project, change and benefits management requirements of the Business Performance department
Required Education
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree
DESIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree; Project Management Certification
Required Experience
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years' project management experience, including recent time in a PMO environment
- A solid grasp of software development lifecycles and system integration delivery
- A collaborative, team-first approach
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 5 most recent years in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment
- Experience in managing projects with stakeholders in multiple disciplines across an organisation
Required Job Skills and Knowledge
- MS Office suite (including MS Project and Viso) and other relevant computer software programmes (e.g. Project Portfolio Management software)
- Prince II and/or PMBOK standards
- Cost management and budgeting principles
- Project management principles, processes, tools, techniques and applications
- Project management and delivery within a larger enterprise project portfolio management context
- Change management principles and applications
- Contract and service level agreement (SLA) management
- Software development cycle
